Raising funds for REST | Real Escape From the Sex Trade

REST | Real Escape from the Sex Trade was founded in November 2009 by a small team of women with experience dealing with troubled youth and sexual abuse issues, and other members of the team with backgrounds in wraparound services and case management to develop relationships with people being commercially sexually exploited (tracked), or otherwise engaged in the sex trade or are at risk to enter.

Each year, they provide direct services to hundreds of people exploited by the sex trade in Seattle and the greater King County area. Through their holistic continuum of care (prevention, intervention, and aftercare), they serve those who are at-risk, actively in, and those taking steps towards exiting a life of sexual exploitation. Their desire is to see Washington become hostile to traffickers and to work themselves out of a job.

What we’re gonna do

Join us for a Happy Hour, Silent and Live Auctions, Dancing and a night of education and support hosted by an Emmy Award Winning Host, Chris Cashman. Delicious eats are included and provided by Tacos la Flaca.

Why are we doing it?

This fun filled evening is our contribution to raise awareness and provide a benefit to the REST a non-profit whose goal is simple — to provide pathways to freedom, safety, and hope to victims of sex tracking and people involved in the sex trade.
